Fresh seasonal fruits, milk, curd, ghee, potatoes, sweet potatoes, nuts, buckwheat (kuttu), water chestnut flour (singhara), sabudana, and rock salt (sendha namak).
All grains (rice, wheat, barley, oats, corn), all lentils (dals), beans, chickpeas, mustard seeds, and non-vegetarian items must be completely avoided.
Break the fast on Dwadashi morning after sunrise during the designated Parana window with sacred caranamrita, tulasi leaf, or grain prasadam to complete the vrata.
Ekadashi is the sacred day of Lord Sri Hari (Hari Vasara). Fasting on this day purifies consciousness and bestows unalloyed devotion to Sri Radha Kunj Bihari.
